If you go here then it has to be for the lunch time buffet from Monday - Thursday which only costs £5.95 for as much as you can eat. Ok it won't be the best Chinese you'll ever eat but its tasty and well worth it. I've done the old lunchtime buffet more times than is healthy and as long as you get here not too early and not too late the food will be great. The service is also very polite and very swift. As soon as you clear your plate they're so quick to clean it away I had to tell them I hadn't finished once. Never the less - its £5.95 and you can take all the time you require to eat all the Chinese food you want. To me its a no brainer.
Set in the Atlantic Wharf complex, the Oriental Garden prides itself on it's reasonably priced buffet menu, with the vibrant and lively surroundings making the experience of dining here fairly enjoyable. Seated only briefly before mounting an attack on the counters of noodles, rice, poultry dishes and so on, customers wont be over-awed by the amount of choice on offer. With the cheap prices though, particularly during the day and between Monday and Thursday, it's hard to feel short-changed. There should be enough choice to suit the needs of most hungry diners, although the actual quality of the food isn't anything other than decent. The service is fine and due to the nature of a buffet, there's no waiting around before you tuck into your food. Not a bad place to come before enjoying the nearby Cinema or Bowling, but not a patch on Cosmos.
